CVE-2026-47050
Vulnerability in the Oracle VM VirtualBox product of Oracle Virtualization (component: Core). The supported version that is affected is 7.2.8. Easily exploitable vulnerability allows high privileged attacker with logon to the infrastructure where Oracle VM VirtualBox executes to compromise Oracle VM VirtualBox. Successful attacks require human interaction from a person other than the attacker and while the vulnerability is in Oracle VM VirtualBox, attacks may significantly impact additional products (scope change).
Read full descriptionShow less
Successful attacks of this vulnerability can result in unauthorized creation, deletion or modification access to critical data or all Oracle VM VirtualBox accessible data and unauthorized ability to cause a hang or frequently repeatable crash (complete DOS) of Oracle VM VirtualBox. CVSS 3.1 Base Score 7.4 (Integrity and Availability impacts). CVSS Vector: (CVSS:3.1/AV:L/AC:L/PR:H/UI:R/S:C/C:N/I:H/A:H).
CVSS
- Version: 3.1
- Vector: CVSS:3.1/AV:L/AC:L/PR:H/UI:R/S:C/C:N/I:H/A:H
- Base score: 7.4
Exploitation probability (EPSS)
- Probability of exploitation in the next 30 days: 0.16%
- Percentile among all scored CVEs: 4
- Score date: 10/5/2026
EPSS (Exploit Prediction Scoring System, FIRST) estimates how likely a vulnerability is to be exploited in the wild within 30 days. It complements CVSS (impact) and CISA KEV (confirmed exploitation).
🎯 ATT&CK techniques
How this vulnerability is exploited and what the attacker gains, in MITRE ATT&CK terms.
- Exploitation
T1203Exploitation for Client Executionexecution95 % - Primary impact
T1565.002Transmitted Data Manipulationimpact85 % - Secondary impact
T1499.004Application or System Exploitationimpact80 %
AV:L + UI:R = explotación en cliente (T1203). Integridad alta (I:H) + modificación de datos críticos = T1565.002. Disponibilidad alta (A:H) + crash/hang = T1499.004 (DoS de aplicación).
Inferred by our analysis agent from the official description, CVSS vector and CWE, and checked by a supervisor. May contain errors.
