En NTFS-3G anterior a 2026.7.7, existe un desbordamiento de búfer en el heap en ntfs_index_walk_down() en libntfs-3g/index.c que permite a un atacante corromper la memoria del heap en el binario SUID-root ntfs-3g creando una imagen NTFS maliciosa.
