Se ha descubierto un problema en Adobe Acrobat y Reader: 2017.012.20098 y versiones anteriores, 2017.011.30066 y versiones anteriores, 2015.006.30355 y versiones anteriores y 11.0.22 y versiones anteriores. La vulnerabilidad ocurre como resultado de un cálculo que lee datos más allá del búfer objetivo; el cálculo forma parte de una conversión de imágenes, específicamente, en los módulos de procesamiento del formato Enhanced Metafile Format Plus (EMF +). El uso de un puntero inválido (fuera de rango) durante el acceso a los campos de la estructura de datos interna provoca esta vulnerabilidad. Un ataque con éxito podría conducir a la exposición de datos sensibles.
