MySQL Manager en Apple Mac OS X 10.3.9 y 10.4.6, al configurar un nuevo servidor de bases de datos MySQL, no utiliza la "New MySQL root password" que se proporciona, lo que hace que la contraseña de root de MySQL quede en blanco y permite a los usuarios locales obtener privilegios completos sobre dicha base de datos.
