Mozilla Firefox 1.5.0.1, y posiblemente otras versiones, conserva algunos registros de la actividad del usuario incluso después de desinstalarlo, lo que permite a los usuarios locales que comparten un perfil de Windows consultar dichos registros tras una nueva instalación de Firefox, tal como se informó para la lista de sitios web de "Passwords Never Saved".
